The Devonport Inn on the Cleave has a unique position in this historic, charming and traffic free Cornish village yards from the small beach that looks out across the Rame peninsular.
On a sunny day one can sit out, eat well at great value from the pub restaurant or sample local real ales and fine wines from the bar.
Try one of our light, hand baked Cornish pasties and a pint of local beer or fresh, seafood dishes such as potted crab, moules Marinieres, or river Exe oysters accompanied with a glass of Prosecco or chilled white wine.
We can accommodate you inside our comfortable bar for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner or you can sit outside in the Cornish sunshine. We are open from 11am for you to join us for coffee whilst reading your morning newspaper.
At lunch the extensive menu is all written on blackboards whilst in the evening the menus come printed with daily specials from the blackboards.
Your hosts, Dawn & Jerome Leopold look forward to welcoming you to one of Cornwall’s most alluring, hidden pleasures and ensure you eat and drink well.
